The X Factor: The Two Celebrity Hosts Are…

Just when you thought all of The X Factor casting was over, you may have forgotten about the host(s). This season there are two hosts and the cat seems to be finally out of the bag as to who they are. That’s right, there are two. Up until this point, there has been plenty of speculation, just as was the case when they were casting the judges. Now, Perez Hilton has revealed exclusively who the two hosts are.

I actually think the two that have apparently been chosen will make a great team and great hosts. They both have experience in hosting capacities and they’re both recognizable faces and liked by many. One of them is a little more controversial than the other, but I think this person will prove skeptics wrong and they’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The hosts are officially Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez, according to Perez Hilton. I think they make a great pair and I can’t wait to see them once their hosting roles start. I’m loving The X Factor right now and find myself looking forward to it each week. I was previously over all of the singing shows but this new season of judges and hosts has lured me in.

‘American Idol’ Season 12 Judges: Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj & Randy Jackson

FOX officially announced the American Idol judges for Season 12, after Katie Couric spilled the beans earlier this week in an interview with Jennifer Lopez. The judges are Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and returning, Randy Jackson. Auditions begin in New York City today where hopefuls will meet host Ryan Seacrest and the four-person panel. The other audition cities include Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte, San Antonio, Baton Rouge and Oklahoma City.

We’ve got global icon Mariah Carey and IDOL’s heart and soul Randy Jackson, who will be joined by Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban. Britney Learns ‘Gangnam Style’ from Psy

On Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the infamous X-Factor judges Simon Cowell and Britney Spears stopped by to promote the show.

In the following clip, Ellen asks Britney about how she had tweeted about wanting to learn the ‘Gangnam Style’ dance. Ellen then surprised Britney and said she had someone here that was going to teach her. Who you ask? None other than Psy himself! Britney was completely shocked but then was totally game to learn the dance with Psy and Ellen. “Dress classy and dance cheesy,” said Psy about the dance. Britney looked hot, but while dancing she reminded me of a fembot from back when she was in Austin Powers. Luckily, her head didn’t explode this time.

Ryan Murphy snags Kate Hudson for a six-episode arc as deliciously wicked Cassandra July. Slowly, FOX has teased us with glimpses of Hudson’s debut, with episodic pics, to an extended clip of her first interaction with Rachel Berry and even the audio for her first performance. At long last, we finally have the official video for her first number on the FOX show.

The powers-that-be were kind enough to debut Hudson’s performance days before the show’s fourth season premiere and it lives up to all the hype. Not only does she sound great but her dancing is flawless. It shouldn’t come as a surprise for anyone who saw Nine. She was the best thing in that musical bomb. Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively Apparently Got Married This Weekend!

According to People Magazine, sexy couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married on Sunday at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The Green Lantern couple have been dating for over a year.

Representatives from both parties haven’t confirmed the news as of yet, but considering the amount of detail in some articles I’ve read and the multiple sources, it’s bound to have happened. Oh, and a very popular singer allegedly sang three songs at the wedding as well. No, it was most definitely not Alanis Morissette. It was apparently Florence Welch, who is a good friend of Blake Lively’s. Great choice! I’m sure whatever she sang, it was amazing.

Blake Lively used to date Penn Badgely and Reynolds used to be married to Scarlet Johansson. Hopefully this one is the one that lasts for these hopeless romantics (both on and off screen). They are definitely one of the hottest couples in Hollywood, both having been featured on numerous hot lists and often landing on top. Perhaps they’ve finally each met their match.

Chace Crawford Covers August Man’s September Issue

Gossip Girl fans are stocking up on Kleenex in anticipation for the show’s final season on the CW. After this sixth and final season, it will be interesting to see what kind of careers many of these actors will take on. Fortunately for some, they already have budding film careers as well. One of those actors is the sexy Chace Crawford who most recently saw in What To Expect When You’re Expecting.

While it doesn’t appear that Chace has any film or TV projects on the go after Gossip Girl concludes, I’m sure his boyish looks and sexy body will get a few jobs in Hollywood once the show wraps up. In his new spread of August Man magazine, Singapore’s men’s luxury lifestyle publication- Chace shows off his ripped triceps along with a great suit and wool sweater. The mag also takes Chace bowling while asking him questions about the closing out of his six-year stint with the popular young adult show. Check out Chace’s full spread below.

Zac Efron Says It’s Okay To Be Gay

Zac Efron has been fielding off rumors of his sexuality for a while now. Is he gay? Is he straight? Does it really matter? In his first gay-press interview with The Advocate, Zac opens up about gay marriage, the rumors surrounding him and why he almost chose to go commando for his latest film, The Paperboy. Woof!

The Advocate first opens up by discussing his dancing skills alongside co-star Nicole Kidman. In the trailer, the two share a dance with a nearly naked Zac in tighty whities in the rain. Intrigued? “Believe it or not, that dance in the rain wasn’t planned,” Zac shares with the magazine. “Nicole’s fun to work with because she’s very improvisational. She just started dancing with me, and we went with the moment.”

Zac later admits that after he filmed the scene, he realized he’d probably get a little bit of “attention” from the clip. He wasn’t wrong. Zac’s co-star Matthew McConaughey designed his own thong for Magic Mike so the Advocate wanted to know if Zac helped pick those soon-to-be iconic tighty whities. “I did, yeah. It’s a period movie, so there weren’t really a lot of choices. Initially, I wondered if my character would even wear underwear at all. But that would’ve been a very different movie.”

On director Lee Daniels saying Zac is ‘eroticized’ on film…
I’ve always just embraced Lee as a brilliant artist, so I followed him blindly, trustingly, and wholeheartedly. He’s searching for beauty and truth in every scene, so I believed in him and always felt safe. I was a fan of Lee’s work — I thought Precious was so marvelous and real — and I knew that he had a lot to teach me. All he required of me was that I be fearless, and that’s something I’m really working on right now in my career.

On his gay fan base…
I really felt that support after High School Musical. I think the gay audience related to my character Troy, because it really was a story of embracing who you are, no matter how different you might be, and not being afraid to show it. That’s a universal theme for everyone, but it specifically resonated with the gay community, and I felt very proud of that.

On tackling a gay role in the future…
I’d never take a role just for the sake of playing gay, but I’m always looking for a role that’s challenging, different, and entails some risk, so there’s no doubt in my mind that one of those characters will be gay at some point in the future. It’s always interesting to delve into unexplored territory, and that would be a new avenue for me. I definitely wouldn’t be afraid.

On marriage equality…
It’s an issue that affects so many people in my life — a lot of my close friends and some of the most influential people around me. I just want them all to be happy. It would make me so happy to see them able to live their lives and do what they want to do.

‘Hansel and Gretters’ Movie Trailer Debutsel: Witch Hun

The movie trailer Hansel&Gretel:Witch Hunters just debuted and got your first look at the fairy tale rebirth. 

Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star as Hansel and Gretel, but it’s now 15 years after their traumatic gingerbread-house incident. Since then, they’ve become a dynamic duo of bounty hunters that track and kill witches all over the world. Things are taken to a whole knew level when they face the terror of a dangerous Sorceress played by Famke Janssen (who She is known for playing the Jean Grey/Phoenix in the X-Men film series). They must stop her before she can sacrifice all the local children to her dark arts.

 It looks party cheesy but part awesome and overall it will be worth checking out in my opinion. The film hits theaters in January 2013. Check out the trailer below!
